Psalms

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved. 15:5

A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. 37:16

Proverbs

He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. 11:28

Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. 13:11

Mark

And the cares of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 4:19

1 Timothy

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 6:9

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 6:10

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 6:11
